It's that time of year again! On September 20-21, the fourth annual convention for GodBloggers will take place in Las Vegas at the BlogWorld & New Media Expo:
GodblogCon is a gathering, it is a fellowship of Christian bloggers, of cultural revolutionaries, of technological visionaries, of professors and pastors, of networkers and authors, of lawyers, poets, pundits, web designers and coders, men, and women who all share one central concern: the advancement of Christ and His kingdom through blogging and internet technologies.
For more details about what to expect, Scriptorium has podcasts of last year's sessions available, and the descriptions posted will give you a good idea of what happens at GodBlogCon.
I've been to all of the previous conventions and heard some excellent speakers, but without a doubt, the opportunity to connect with other bloggers face to face has been the most valuable part of these conferences. That aspect of GodBlogCon has been a great encouragement to me--particularly when I first started blogging. We'd love to see more of you bloggers out there this year, so take a look at the lineup of speakers and topics, check out the GodBlogCon Facebook page, and then go register to attend (the price goes up $25 after Friday).

Does anyone else find the words "Godblog" and "Godblogger" offensive or just annoying? Who came up with them, Hugh Hewitt?? : )
