I live in the Detroit Area, It is indeed Dearborn. Very large Arab population. Have heard its the largest Arab population outside the Middle east but haven't verified.
I think the two biggest mistakes people make when accusing others of intolerance is 1)confusing subjective claims with objective claims, and 2) confusing judging a person as bad or wrong with judging an action as wrong. It's like when your young child does something they aren't supposed to. Just because you say, "we don't eat dogfood, that's bad" does not mean we are saying, "you are bad".
Probably Dearborn not Deerborn.
