I was JUST looking around for a student apologetics bible! Frankly, I wasn't impressed with what I found. But this looks exciting! I can't wait.

Sounds reasonable. How will this differ from the Apologetics Study Bible?

My problem with these "study" Bibles (apologetics, archaeology, student, princess, etc, etc) is that they seem to distort the true meaning of Scripture. The Bible was not written to argue the existence of God, it simply states it as a presupposed fact. Don't you think we should be more concerned with driving the reader to Christ than with driving him to rationalism (or empiricism)?

I am all for apologetics (more of a Van Til type myself) but I think there is a reason Seminaries (rightly) separate "apologetics" classes and "Biblical Studies." We should not fool ourselves into thinking that studying evidences for the resurrection is the same thing as genuine Bible study.
