I to have warm feelings for Advent. 40 years ago I had my first date with the girl who is now my wife. It was my opportunity to introduce her to the Anglican culture of "leitourgia" (greek for public work). We went with  my church youth group  to make advent wreaths. We all got to share the symbolism  of the candles, the colors of the vestments and the history of the church. All through that history the liturgy has existed in the church in some form. The Lord himself instituted the Eucharist. The apostles made some adjustments before the close of the cannon and wise men throughout history have shepherded the public work. I too hope the Advent season " diciplines our minds" to focus on our Savior's finished work.

What a blessing to participate in the anticipation of Christ's arrival.

wow great i have read many articles about this topic and every time i learn something new i dont think it will ever stop always new info , Thanks for all of your hard work!
