It's funny because there are things believed by some of the same secularists that actually are myths that evolved over time to create the impression that Christianity is a science stopper and anti-intellectual

The secularists I know think Christianity is a science stopper is because of the rejection of evolution, climate change, and all attempts to use science to determine when a fetus is a viable human being.

I'm not sure you're using the word "viable" correctly. Although, technically, every healthy developing baby in the womb is "viable" in the normal sense of the word, usually when used in the abortion discussion, people use the word in reference to whether or not a baby can live outside the womb. And this is indeed determined by science, since it depends on the technology available.

1. Science determines when a new member of the human species is viable.
2. Science determines when a new member of the human species exists.
3. Science does not determine the value of any member of the human species (that's just not the kind of thing science measures).

Agreed?

Nicely put, Amy.

Many like to disregard the science when it comes to abortion. The only science that is relevant to them is the science necessary to design the tool used to perform the abortion. It must be effective in order to snuff out life.

all attempts to use science to determine when a fetus is a viable human being
Says the “scientist”.
