We ought not seem suprised that people are calling prop 8 "hate" or that it's being argued as a "right", since we as a society caved in to a small very vocal minority by *tolerating* this dangerous/deadly lifestyle ala civil unions for homosexual partners. The table was set for the next step of demanding approval of the lifestyle even at the huge costs that are so evident by examining statistical evidence of the deleterious effects of engaging in homosexuality.

Prop 8 is more of an act of care for than hate for people. Getting the general public to see this is a struggle for the truth. We have come to demonize smokers/smoking as a society because of it's health risks, but to the contrary, are being convinced to approve a more deadly activity-homosexual lifestyle.
