...at the University of California, San Diego. It was the same event I blogged about the other day. In that blog post, I mentioned how I was able to have calm and productive conversations with pro-choice students about abortion in front of a provocative exhibit. Sure, I was able to do that, but can we train other Christians to do it? Absolutely!
The Christians I trained prior to this event achieved the same results that day (You can see the pro-life woman on the right talking shoulder-to-shoulder with a UCSD student). They started conversations and made their case against abortion in a persuasive, yet gracious manner. They didn’t get in heated fights or shouting matches. They calmly engaged people who disagreed with them on an important issue.
Kudos to you all! It is exciting to hear this, especially in such hostile territory!
I am encouraged to improve my skills and pass them along to my children. We can (and will) make a difference, one person at a time.

Justice for All and organizations like it do great work. Thanks for lighting these brush fires in people's minds.

I saw Mike Huckabee on the Daily Show the other day talking about abortion and the pro-life movement. I'd be interested to here what the folks at STR thought about his performance. What did Huckabee do well? Was there any point that you would have handled differently?
