First of all lets be honest here and acknowledge what else is coming in the door. Yes same sex marriage in bold print but the fine print says bi-sexuality, transgender, and all other "alternatives". The suggestion that all these behaviors are the same as and therefore equal to heterosexual behavior is ridiculous. Really. The idea that anyone could be confused about this speaks of the tragedy of our time. I understand now in Seattle shools students are free to define their own gender male or female, or get this; none.
Malcolm Muggeridge once said of our day "we have educated ourselves into imbecility". Amen to that.

Amen to that indeed.

Though the issue is parsed with "equity" language, the samesex marriage advocates are actually petitioning against equity. Since as it currently stands the laws apply to everyone equally. What they don't like is that everyone also has the same restrictions.

I realize what this article is about, but I would like to add something.

After leaving a cult, I visited at least 3 different churches. A Nazarene, Baptist, Methodist. I really liked the people at the Baptist and Nazarene, but attended all of them off an on for a couple years. None of them ever had any sermons, talks, teaching in church about the subject. The only place it was ever mentioned in detail was the church's membership book and doctrine. If the church cowers down to this, which many churches are practicing their own version of "Don't ask, don't tell", then what you mention in your article will only get worse.

John,
Yes. A lot of church members have adopted a defeatist attitude. They think to themselves... "Oh. What can we do? It is inevitable." Many are afraid to speak up.

The thing is... as the Bible says, the fear of man is a snare.

Moreover speaking up on this issue is also a matter of obedience. We have to say something whether or not people will heed our words or not. Its simply a matter of obedience to God.

Let's say that when I wake up tomorrow morning, my wife (of 27 years) has somehow turned into a man.

Tell you what: I am staying married to her ... er, him.

There is well documented evidence of homosexual and bisexual behavior in animals. Such behaviors include sex, courtship, affection, pair bonding, and parenting among same sex animals. A 1999 review by researcher Bruce Bagemihl shows that homosexual behavior has been observed in close to 1,500 species, ranging from primates to gut worms, and is well documented for 500 of them. Animal sexual behavior takes many different forms, even within the same species. According to Bagemihl, "the animal kingdom [does] it with much greater sexual diversity — including homosexual, bisexual and nonreproductive sex — than the scientific community and society at large have previously been willing to accept." Current research indicates that various forms of same-sex sexual behavior are found throughout the animal kingdom. A new review made in 2009 of existing research showed that same-sex behavior is a nearly universal phenomenon in the animal kingdom, common across species.

"And that's why birds do it, bees do it
Even educated fleas do it
Let's do it, let's fall in love

Cold Cape Cod clams, 'gainst their wish, do it
Even lazy jellyfish do it
Let's do it, let's fall in love

I've heard that lizards and frogs do it
Layin' on a rock
They say that roosters do it
With a doodle and cock

Some Argentines, without means do it
I hear even Boston beans do it
Let's do it, let's fall in love
"

Check it out, Dennis. There is well documented evidence of animals killing other innocent animals and raping other innocent animals.

Humans are not animals, Dennis. It's true. Check it out.
