The O Antiphon for December 21:
O Oriens (O Dayspring)
Isaiah 9:2 / Malachi 4:2 / Luke 1:78-79
O Oriens,
splendor lucis æternæ,
et sol justitiæ:
veni, et illumina
sedentes in tenebris,
et umbra mortis.
O Dayspring,
splendor of light everlasting
and Sun of justice:
Come and enlighten
those who sit in darkness
and in the shadow of death.
That's me. I am in darkness...but for my Lord, the Christ, I would be utterly lost. But He has translated me from the kingdom of darkness into his kingdom - into His marvelous light. All by His awesome grace. Blessed is the name of Yeshua, the Nazarene!
