I am just now listening to the podcast.
I loved the discussion with Joe(?) regarding surrogacy. It was just so nice to hear a conversation on a difficult subject where great points were brought up by both sides, and where both people listened to, accurately represented, and thoughtfully considered the point of view of the other. How I wish all discussions on difficult topics could be that way!
As to the news article about the city of Houston subpoenaing sermon notes, I was left fuming.
So they're going to subpoena the messages preached by imams in mosques, right?
The sad part is that the City may not find much with which to take issue. Most Christian churches and pastors are too terrified to speak out against homosexuality, same-sex marriage and the rest of the agenda of the Rainbow Crowd anyway.

I think if I were a pastor, it would make me more likely to say something about homosexuality just because I wouldn't like the government telling me I can't.
