Thank you sincerely for sharing, very important to learn and failures are excellent source. Actually I always feel more drawn to someone who shares a failure because it says something positive about their character. Blessings.

I often ask as a part of the talk, even if I may know the answer. I may say something like, "In America... [it's like this]. What are things like here in... ?" Then I get the opportunity to interact with them on differences and similarities. First, it's more relational and gives them a sense of value to have contributed to the education of their instructor. But it allows me to broaden the human experience of their culture or current situation in my teaching and transcend it with a greater biblical truth.
