I've been eagerly awaiting Greg's new book since he first mentioned it!
Annabeth is more well spoken and intelligent than many adults I know. I relate to her "always reading" habit so well! One time, it nearly killed me. And I do mean that *literally*, literally. I was reading one of the last Harry Potter books near the lakefront. When I managed to look up, I was no more than a step or two from the edge of the pier. Have I mentioned I can't swim and am terrified of water?
My first thought: I COULD HAVE RUINED MY BOOK!
How I wish I could go to her school. It's probably more advanced and has more actual content and challenge than most colleges these days. It makes me want to weep. I wanted so desperately to one day be in a classroom situation where I could be challenged and share a love of learning with others.
